Cupping

Fire cupping is an ancient therapeutic technique rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. It involves placing glass or bamboo cups on the skin after heating the air inside the cup with a flame to create a vacuum. As the air cools, the cups suction onto the skin, drawing the skin and underlying tissue upward. This process is believed to stimulate blood flow, reduce inflammation, and help alleviate muscle tension. Fire cupping is often used to treat conditions like chronic pain, respiratory issues, and stress, while promoting overall relaxation and healing. The treatment can leave temporary circular marks, indicating the areas where energy stagnation has been released.
